Brown's Ford of Amsterdam

They say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but sometimes, you just can’t be bothered to get up early to cook, and going out for breakfast is a much easier option. Thankfully, Amsterdam, NY has some of the best breakfast places on the Eastern Seaboard, so whether you’re in a rush on the way to work or are taking the whole family out for brunch, we’ve compiled this list for you of our favorite spots to grab breakfast in the area.

Europa Cafe

If you’re looking for an interesting and diverse meal to start your day then look no further than Europa Cafe in Amsterdam. The owners change the menu regularly to ensure regulars will always have fresh variety, and there are always some great local and international classics on offer such as quiche, French toast, and breakfast sandwiches.

Europa Cafe opens its doors at 6 am, and the chefs and servers are pretty rapid with orders, meaning it’s a great place to hit up on your way to work, and with the powerful all-electric engine on the new Ford Mustang Mach-E Select, you can be sure you’ll have time to stop by here even if you’re running late.

South 30 Diner

Set in a cozy shack just off State Highway 30, South 30 Diner is a great spot for some classic all-American breakfast grub. All the favorites are here, such as chicken with biscuits and gravy; eggs Benedict; omelets; and fry-ups, but what makes this such a great choice is the price. Compared with other diners in its class, the dishes at South 30 Diner are the most reasonably priced in the area.

Of course, being a diner, the chefs here also cook up some delicious brunch and lunch options, but you’ll have to get here quickly as the joint closes up for the day at 2 pm.

Olde Brick House Deli and Eatery

Another gem located off State Highway 30, the Olde Brick House Deli and Eatery boasts tons of charm with its rustic decor, friendly staff, and excellent food menu. The joint serves up incredible internationally-inspired breakfast dishes, such as Belgian waffles, French croissants, and English muffins, and the coffee is also great too.

If you fancy coming down later in the day then you can also check out Olde Brick House Deli and Eatery’s selection of delicious lunch and dinner options which include options such as Swedish meatballs, paninis, and mozzarella sticks.

These are just a few of the amazing places to get breakfast around Amsterdam; now the only difficult part is trying to decide which one to go for first. Whether you go for classic local dishes at South 30 Diner or some European fare at Olde Brick House, every place on this list is worth the drive. Afterward, drop by and visit us at Brown’s Ford of Amsterdam to let us know what you went for and get that essential repair or service.
