Overwhelmed with all of the available cars out there? Make the car search easier by checking out our brief explanation of the 2022 Ford Bronco Sport. We hope the car search ends here!

The Ford Bronco Sport was officially released in 2021 and comes in four trims for 2022: Base, Big Bend, Outer Banks, and Badlands, with Badlands being the highest trim level available. Base, Big Bend, and Outer Banks have the standard 1.5L EcoBoost engine, while the Badlands model has a 2.0L EcoBoost engine designed to deliver 250 horsepower and 277 lb-ft of torque.

The Bronco Sport has a combined mpg of 23, with highway mpg reaching up to 21. But the Bronco Sport is made for far more than the highway. Each Bronco comes with five standard GOAT (Goes Over Any Type of Terrain) modes: Sand, Slippery, Sport, Eco, and Normal. The Badlands has two additional settings: Mud/Ruts and Rock/Crawl.

App & Navigation Technology

The Ford Bronco can take you as far away from reality as you’d like with the comfort that home is just a button away. Activate your Bronco Sport’s voice-activated navigation system and let technology guide you through verbal commands. Your Bronco Sport also comes with a GPS system that uses virtual breadcrumbs to keep track of where you’ve been so you never lose your starting point.

And the Ford Bronco’s technology does more than guide you to your next checkpoint. With the FordPass app, you’ll have guidance 24/7 through their roadside support feature. The app even includes advice explaining the steps you should take after an accident and gives you tracking information for the help that is coming.

Capabilities

If you want to see what the Ford Bronco Sport is all about, you should start with the Badlands. First, the available all-terrain off-road tires give you a ground clearance of 8.8 inches. Visibility is easy, especially when you couple these tires with the available 180-degree camera. Its water-fording feature lets you clear over 23 inches of water. Don’t forget the advanced 4×4 capability that lets you send torque to just one rear wheel.

The rest of the Ford Bronco Sport models are designed for agility as well. Even the standard 4×4 capability will balance traction and keep your Bronco Sport on the road. Its durable body is made to handle tough conditions, and the roof can carry up to 150 pounds of cargo while you’re driving.

Exterior & Interior

Both the inside and the outside of the Bronco Sport have been designed thoughtfully. From the front grille displaying the Bronco logo to the bottle cap opener hidden near the rear tail light, each element of the Bronco Sport will meet and even anticipate your needs. Try out the contoured bucket seats and you’ll realize you’re more than comfortable enough for any road trip.
